Begin the foray with a beautiful beach exploration at the foot of the iconic White Cliffs of Dover searching for nutritious seaweeds. Then a magical Wild Food feast in our beach hut. Afterwards inland for more edible and medicinal wild plants.

SEAWEED SPECIAL  : Sunday, August 13th (10-2 pm)   BOOK

Gather nourishing edible seaweeds & learn how to best cook & store them to last all year. Lucia will share her passion and knowledge about seaweed and facts from her talk , 'Seaweed in the Kitchen’, at The Royal Botanical Gardens, Edinburgh in 2015. Enjoy a wild food feast & cook up with botanical cocktails (with a hint of seaweed!) & homemade seaweed bread in a stylish beach hut. £69 p/p.

SMUGGLERS & SAMPHIRE : Saturday, 19th August (1-6pm) BOOK   

Magical wilderness location to see the last strands of Summer samphire & gather coastal delights from sea aster to fennel flowers. Gourmet beach picnic to include smoked haddock and sea blite muffins,wild cream gateau & flower-infused cocktails.

SUPERFOOD TREASURE CHEST: Sat 2nd September (1-6pm)  BOOK 

Sea buckthorn, summer seeds and seaweeds. A delicious and very nourishing  free resource. Especially valuable for vegetarians. Mega lunch in Beach hut.

BERRY BONANZA Saturday 7 October (10-3pm) BOOK   

Cook’s treats. We will be feasting upon Hawthorn berries, seabuckthorn, elder. Enjoy nutritious and colourful cocktails & a 'blow out’ wild feast.

SHELLFISH SPECIAL: Saturday 4th November 1-6 pm BOOK 

Forget those fireworks and enjoy a gourmet  feast at the Wild Kitchen in Deal, Kent instead with steamed Mussels with horseradish vinaigrette and ‘Bloody Mermaids’. After luncheon, some energetic beachcombing to collect your own fresh shellfish and edible seaweeds from under the picturesque skies that JW Turner painted.
