BERRY BONANZA Saturday 7th October (10 - 3pm) 69 per person BOOK   

Cook’s treats. Collect hawthorn berries, seabuckthorn & autumnal seeds and leaves that grow near the sea. Enjoy nutritious and colourful cocktails & a gourmet foraged feast back at the Wild Kitchen in Deal, Kent; a cosy Georgian townhouse owned by a Ship’s pilot in the 18th century.

SHELLFISH SPECIAL: Saturday 4th November (2-6pm-ish)   69 per person BOOK 

Low tide is at 6pm therefore we shall meet at the Wild Kitchen in Deal, Kent; a cosy Georgian townhouse owned by a Ship’s pilot in the 18th century to energise ourselves with a large pre-foray lunch of shellfish - mussels & dog whelks. Learn how best to cook them. Eat Kentish homemade huffkins with a seabuckthorn chocolate cake. At 3.30 pm we will set off on our foraging expedition - to find fresh shellfish and oysters and edible seaweeds from under the stormy skies that JW Turner painted.

SEAWEED SPECIAL with coastal plants  : Sat November 11th (10 - 3 pm)   £ 69 per person   BOOK

Gather nourishing edible seaweeds & learn how to best cook & store them to last all year. Lucia will share her passion and knowledge about seaweed from her talk , 'Seaweed in the Kitchen’, at The Royal Botanical Gardens, Edinburgh. We will also be gathering winter leaves & coastal plants to sustain us. Wintery wild food feast with hot toddys in a stylish beach hut. Dress warm …  69 p/p.
